forgotten

could it be?
that people we love
would be like sand in the sea
we just cant grasp them long
they drift in our hands
no matter how hard
we hold unto them
they drown into an ocean of oblivion
forgetting us and the memories we had
dont they have?
the courage to endure the breaking waves
or is it me to blame?
for not holding tighter
upon them??
